Hope and Healing Collaborative
About Us
Our Background
Founded in August 2022 by Sandy Bromley and Arriell Gipson Martin, The Hope and Healing Collaborative is a partnership of people and organizations working towards the reduction of violence and its impact on the Memphis and Shelby County community. The Collaborative is a safe and empowering space for people across Shelby County who work in the ecosystem of violence reduction where we agree upon a common purpose and respect different strategies. Safety is more than the absence of crime/harm – it is the presence of well-being and when we focus on the well-being of those "doing the work" we know that are breaking silos and investing in a safer community.
